“Stunningly Vivid”

Samsung has aimed high with the Galaxy Tab S. And they have achieved it. This beautiful, slim, powerful and tech packed tablet offers a wide variety of options with an amazing battery life to go with it.

The Galaxy Tab S is the flagship for 2014. It comes in 8.4 and 10.5 inch. It comes with an amazing and stunning 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED screen. It also offers an amazing 12hr battery life (7900maAh) and is only 6.6mm thick (or should i say thin). Another addition to the tablet is a fingerprint reader giving you higher security for all your private and important documents.

Available in “Dazzling White” and “Titanium Bronze” it has a plastic rear like the GS5 with the dimples on the back. So people say they like it and others not so much. But with this tablet its whats inside and what it has to offer that counts.

Both tablets come in with amazing stats. A front view camera of 2 megapixel and a rear view (main) camera with 8 megapixels. The main body comes to you with 16GB internal storage but one of the best extras in my opinion is you are capable of adding an SD card of up to 128GB card, giving you plenty of storage. We all live in a world that we need more memory and what a great place to start. A generous 3GB of RAM is accompanied by Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa processor with four 1.9GHz core and four 1.3GHz cores. The Galaxy tab runs of Android 4.4 KitKat on top of Samsungs My Magazine.

Magazine UI only works and makes sense if you use the built-in email and calendar apps. If you use Googlee or 3rd party apps (which you probably do), then nothing will appear in these widget areas unfortunately.  Also you cannot remove it. It is on the device as standard.

Either way, this is an amazing tablet for you. An an amazing all rounder. Being able to know that you can play, watch or work without know its going to loose battery and die on you.

An amazing Performance of the AMOLED screen was shown down on the Southbank in London on 20th August this year. Samsung made a “Midnight Rainbow” using 150 Galaxy Tab s and showing the quality and performance of there new screen. It stood 14 feet high and 26 feet wide showing colours of the rainbow in a way that has never been seen before. Below is some more information and photos of the event.

Midnight Rainbow 5

The jewel in the crown of the Galaxy Tab S is its display, which comes courtesy of Samsung’s Super AMOLED screen technology and expresses more colours than your standard tablet with a contrast ratio that makes blacks darker and whites brighter. It means watching films or a favourite TV show is an entirely new experience because of the extra rich and crisp colours on the screen.

Midnight Rainbow 7As you can see above the clarity and amazing colour coming from the new Tablet is unbelievable. The new AMOLED display is going to be a one to beat. Beautiful!!
