From the minute you walk through the grande entrance, to meeting your bags in your room, you immediately feel like Royalty. The service around the hotel, right through to the after dinner mints, you really cant get much better than the beautiful St. Pancras Renaissance, London.

We first checked in at the beautiful open aired lobby (image below) and were greeted with smiles at reception. There’s such a fabulous feel about the hotel whilst just standing there, taking in the made to measure suits on all the staff, the beautiful afternoon tea and guests drinking champagne around you. You immediately know you are somewhere special.

Lobby_1Our room wasn’t quite ready so we were whisked straight off to the Chambers Club to enjoy a drink or two and a beautiful selection of afternoon tea treats. Sitting in the Chambers Club you then begin to feel the heritage mixed with modern luxury twist this hotel has perfectly mastered. Everywhere you look from the carpets to the window frames, every detail is absolutely stunning!!

St Pancras HotelThe sweeping staircase is such an eye catcher and stunning focal point of the room. Just one example of the beautiful architecture the St. Pancras hotel has to offer.

After “a few” drinks we were then taken to our room. The Junior Chambers Suite.

Chambers Junior Suite 174After checking out our room (as you always do) we jumped straight into our dressing gowns and slippers and rushed down to the spa before dinner for a nice relaxing swim and sauna.

The spa facilities and treatments at the hotel are endless. Click HERE to see what there is to offer.

Below is an image of the amazing and tranquil swimming pool and jacuzzi.

St Pancras Spa_poolAfter feeling relaxed and refreshed we headed back to our beautiful suite to get ready for dinner. We had reservations in the Booking Office Restaurant.

We sat down to enjoy wonderfully prepared onion soup followed by a perfectly cooked rib-eye steak, accompanied by a bottle of the house red. All were delicious. The house red is one of the smoothest reds I’ve ever tried. And you HAVE to try the truffle mash. We were that full we didn’t have space for dessert so we retired to the Chambers Club for a night cap and more relaxation.
