Wine & Champagne Tasting – London

What a weekend i had. I hope all you guys had a lovely weekend also.

Yesterday (Sunday 22nd Sept).. I went to a wine and champagne tasting event in London near Borough Market. Anyone been to borough market? if not, you need to!

The Wine event was in a place called the Wine Warf. This is where Vinopolis Wines is where we did the event.

We were greeting at reception by a gentleman giving us our cards which had 16 tokens on. Roughly, 1 Token = the price of a wine between £7 – £24 then 2 tokens = wine between £24 – £40 and so on.. the more tokens you spend on a wine to try the better it was. Simple..

By the end of the event (bare in mind we started at 2 pm and finished at half 4) we had drunk A LOT!!! i figured out that roughly i had drunk around 6/7 glasses of wine. Thats a lot when you put it in perspective of time. None the less, i would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t know anything about wines & champagne and wants to learn and also its great fun with a few of you.

I took a few photos for you all to see, hope you like them

  1. Hey guys,

    Great blog! Really enjoy it.

I just recently moved to London, and wonder if you have any recommendations for a hairdresser? A good fresh haircut for a gentleman.

    Any recommendations?

    Best Regards,

    Philip
